This Privacy Policy explains how Zeltmann Notary Services (a DBA of Ralian LLC) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use this website or hire us as a notary public or loan signing agent in the State of Texas.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
We collect (a) information you give us through the contact form, WhatsApp, email, or phone, including your name, email, phone, and a description of the service you need; (b) information required by Texas law to perform a notarial act, such as the type of identification document you present, the date and time of the notarization, and your signature in the official notary record (journal); (c) limited technical information your browser sends when you visit the site, such as IP address, device type, and pages viewed.
3. How we use your information
We use the information to respond to your request, schedule and perform the notarial service, comply with our recordkeeping obligations under Texas Government Code Chapter 406, send you an invoice or receipt, and improve the website. We do not sell your personal information.
4. The notary journal
Texas law requires every notary public to keep a record of every notarial act performed. The notary record is a legal record and may be inspected by the Texas Secretary of State or by a court order. By using our notary services you acknowledge that information about the notarial act will be kept in this record for the period required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use first-party Vercel Analytics for aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic analysis. If you accept optional cookies in our cookie banner, we may also load advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel) to measure ad performance. 6. Sharing with third parties
We share information with the title company, lender, escrow officer, signer, or other party who hired us, only as needed to complete the assignment. We use service providers (Vercel for hosting, EmailJS for the contact form, WhatsApp for messaging, Google Workspace for email) under their own privacy terms. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or subpoena.
7. Your rights

8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), strong account passwords, and locked physical storage of the notary journal. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Notarizations involving minors are performed only at the request of a parent or legal guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
